5.7km ‘Fun’ Run

How much fun can you handle?

As before, your day starts by registering at the `event hub` on the Grasmere Sports Field. Then, from the designated `muster point` you will be `piped` to the start line, a short distance through the village of Grasmere.

This is a challenging `fun run`. Initially it takes the same route out of Grasmere as the 10k, but on reaching Deer Bolts Wood it descends to the Grasmere shoreline, and then retuns to the village of Grasmere, finishing on the sports field for a grandstand finish.

A great event, especially for those not ready to take on the full 10k. Very popular with children and families wanting to run or walk.
